“With a heavy heart we are sorry to say Cherry Blossom has closed after a long week of trying to work out ways to move forward we have made this decision with the rising cost of overheads it just wasn’t possible to stay open We have loved our time here so much and will miss all are regular customers who have become like family , the tearooms was a little community hub and maybe with time we will relocate and see you all again soon xox”
Cherry Blossom Tea Rooms at Merville House is a family run business with a happy relaxed atmosphere. It provides a range of breakfasts, light lunches, fabulous afternoon tea, hot beverages, frappes smoothies homemade lemonade,freshly baked scones cakes & tray bakes.
The beautiful unique quirky tea rooms are set in the Donegal Suite of Merville House in the idyllic Merville Garden Village, on the shoreline of Belfast Lough. The business caters to drop-in customers, as well as catering for baby showers, christenings , birthdays anniversary engagement & wedding Party’s.
Also funeral receptions in the lovely tranquil setting of our Rowan Room.
The business is based at Merville House, Merville Garden Village, Newtownabbey, BT37 9HT. Merville House is an 18th century manor house turned modern events venue located just outside of Belfast. It is a multi-purpose facility which has retained its original Georgian features complemented with contemporary design.
